I work out of a studio on the edge of Ledwith Prairie in Micanopy, Florida. The surrounding and protected 4000 acre prairie was home to Native Americans and now harbors sandhill cranes, alligators, and a host of chirping, baying, slithering, rummaging and digging animals, reptiles and birds.

For me, just setting foot on this property inspires me to paint with passion and exploration, and to remember that life is every changing and unremitting in its quest for survival. I hope my paintings do justice to the gift of this place that I have been granted to use.
